Wash all the fruits. Cut off the stem or top part and the bottom or base of the guavas, figs, and tejocotes. Cut the apples and pears into large cubes.
In a pot, add the piloncillo, the fruits, cloves, and anise. Pour in enough water to cover the fruits, but be careful not to spill over the pot. Bring to a high heat until it boils, then reduce to low heat and let simmer for about 45 minutes.
Serve hot in mugs and it can be accompanied with milk.
