  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 1/2 cups mandarin orange juice
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup cookies, crushed for the base
  • 1/2 cups butter, melted for the base
  • 1 1/2 cups cookies, crushed for the layers
  • 2 cups mandarin orange wedges, for filling and decorating
  • leaves peppermint, for decorating

  • Heat the butter in a pan over low heat and add the flour, wait for it to combine well and pour in the mandarin juice and add the sugar; cook for 5 minutes until it thickens, remove and cool.
  • Beat the cream cheese and add the mandarin sauce, integrate perfectly and set aside.
  • Mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter and set aside.
  • To assemble the charlotte, line a rectangular mold with plastic wrap and spread a layer of the cheese mixture, place mandarin segments, and sprinkle a layer of crushed cookies; repeat the process until the mold is full, and in the last layer, add the cookie mixture with butter to create the base. Chill for 24 hours.
  • Unmold and remove the plastic; smooth if necessary and decorate.
