Thousand Leaves of Goat Cheese and Apples

  • 1 cup Great Value® wheat flour
  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • 1/4 cups unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cups Great Value® granulated sugar
  • 3 golden apple, sliced
  • 2 packages Extra Special® Goat Cheese With Walnut
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1/3 cups Extra Special® acahual flower honey spread
  • 1 sprig peppermint

  • Preheat the oven to 200° C.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until you achieve a thickness of 3mm, using a knife cut 3 circles with a circumference of 20 cm.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  • In a skillet, heat the butter, add the refined sugar, and cook for 2 minutes, then add the apples and cook for 5 more minutes. Let cool and set aside.
  • For the filling, using a spatula, cream the goat cheese with walnuts, add the orange zest, rosemary, and honey until well combined.
  • Place one layer of puff pastry on a cake base, add the goat cheese with walnuts, and a few slices of caramelized apple in the center.
