The bolillo bread or sandwich bread should preferably be one day old, sliced into portions of 2 to 3 cm wide.
The egg whites are beaten until stiff peaks form and then the yolks are added. Each slice is dipped and well soaked.
In hot oil, the slices soaked in egg are fried until golden brown and cooked through.
They are drained perfectly on paper towels.
They are placed on a platter and drizzled with honey for finger-licking goodness.
