Truffle cookies

This recipe for cookies are well known in the American desserts kitchen. With a touch of chocolate and healthier products.

  • 1/2 cups margarine, (of plant origin)
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cups chocolate chips, (without milk and preferably very small)
  • 340 grams chocolate, (without milk)

  • With the help of a blender , beat the margarine, sugar, salt, vanilla and water until they mix well. Add the flour and beat until they are well incorporated.
  • Add the chocolate chips and cover the dough to put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Remove the dough from the refrigerator and make balls of good size. Place them in a tray on waxed paper and put them in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Melt the 340 grams of chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave. Let it cool to room temperature. Remove the dough balls from the freezer.
  • With the help of two forks, submerge each ball over the melted chocolate and remove the excess chocolate.
  • When you finish mounting all the balls again on the tray, put it back into the refrigerator for 20 more minutes.
