1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
150 grams sugar
3 egg yolks
2 eggs
1/2 cups cow's milk
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
100 grams walnuts

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and place the oven rack in the middle. Grease and flour a loaf or bundt pan.
Sift the flour into a bowl, along with the baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a bowl, cream the butter a bit, then add the sugar and mix very well on low speed until smooth and slightly fluffy.
Incorporate the egg yolks one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the eggs one by one for about 20 seconds each.
Combine half of the flour and all of the milk, mixing well, then add the vanilla and the remaining flour, mixing again until everything is combined.
Pour the mixture into the pan and top with nuts or raisins, etc. Bake for 40-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean and it is golden on top.
