Delicious vanilla croissants. Croissants typically have no flavor; in this recipe, I suggest preparing them with a vanilla flavor that you can enjoy with your coffee, hot chocolate, filled with jam, or on their own as well.

1 stick butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
icing sugar

Preheat the oven to 190°c.
With your hands, mix the butter, sugar, and vanilla.
Add the flour gradually until a smooth dough forms.
Shape the croissants.
Bake them at 190°c for 10 to 15 minutes until they are brown.
When they come out of the oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
