Vanilla Croissants

Delicious vanilla croissants. Croissants typically have no flavor; in this recipe, I suggest preparing them with a vanilla flavor that you can enjoy with your coffee, hot chocolate, filled with jam, or on their own as well.

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • icing sugar

  • Preheat the oven to 190°c.
  • With your hands, mix the butter, sugar, and vanilla.
  • Add the flour gradually until a smooth dough forms.
  • Shape the croissants.
  • Bake them at 190°c for 10 to 15 minutes until they are brown.
  • When they come out of the oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
