Vanilla Mousse with Blueberries Danette

This vanilla mousse is made with Vanilla Flavor Danette® Custard with a bit of whipping cream and sugar. It includes blueberries, but you can substitute them with strawberries.

  • 500 milliliters whipping cream
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 Danette chocolate flavored custard, 100 grams each
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin powder, hydrated in 1/2 cup of water and melted in a double boiler
  • 3/4 cups cranberries

  • Whip the cream with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Add the Vanilla Flavor Danette® Custard at low speed until perfectly combined.
  • Pour in the previously hydrated and melted gelatin in a thin stream and continue beating until incorporated.
  • With the help of a spatula, gently fold the blueberries into the mousse.
  • Pour the mixture into cups and refrigerate for 20 minutes or until firm. Serve decorated with more blueberries.
