Vegan Chocolate Truffles

Prepare this fast recipe of vegan chocolate truffles, these small bites are very easy to make and also healthy. These truffles are prepared with dates that will give you the perfect sweetness, and roasted the almonds with cocoa powder that make the perfect combination.

  • 3/4 cups pitted dates
  • 1 cup almonds, copped and toasted
  • 1/2 cups cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 cup cocoa, to cover truffles

  • In a food processor, crush the dates with the cocoa, the almonds, the agave syrup and the orange juice into a paste.
  • Take the mix out of the food processor and add the orange zest. Add the melted chocolate and mix until fully incorporated. Freeze 10 min.
  • Roll the mixture unto little balls and cover each of them with cocoa.
  • Enjoy.
