Enjoy this walnut cake, which is prepared in a simple way, as the mixture is made in a blender with Granvita® Whole Oats. This dessert is perfect for surprising your family and is also ideal for selling.
For the mixture: Blend the eggs with the sweetened condensed milk, flour, Granvita® Whole Oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, melted butter, and walnuts until fully combined.
Pour the mixture into a previously greased round mold. Bake at 180 °C for 40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with no residue. Once out of the oven, let it cool.
For the frosting: Using a mixer with a whisk attachment, beat the whipping cream at medium speed until it doubles in size, then lower the speed and add the powdered sugar and orange zest, mixing until you obtain a fluffy and manageable mixture. Keep refrigerated until use.
Assemble the cake: Cut the cake horizontally to obtain two pieces, moisten one of the halves with coffee liqueur and add some walnuts, then place the other half of the cake on top and completely cover the cake with the frosting using a pastry spatula.
Once the cake is covered, place the remainder of the frosting in a piping bag with a star tip, decorate the cake with the rest of the frosting, chopped walnuts, and Granvita® Oat Cookies. Refrigerate before serving.
