Watermelon Slushie with Coconut Cream and Cardamom

  • 3 cups watermelon, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cups Great Value® granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cups coconut cream
  • 1 pinch cardamom
  • peppermint, for garnish
  • shredded coconut, for garnish

  • Place the watermelon in a resealable bag and freeze.
  • In a small pot over low heat, heat the water with the sugar and add the lemon juice, cooking until a syrup is formed. Let it cool and set aside.
  • For the coconut cream, whip the heavy cream with the coconut cream and cardamom until peaks form, then place the cream in a piping bag and set aside.
  • In a blender, add the watermelon and syrup, and blend on frappé mode until a slushie is achieved.
