Wheat and Honey Cookies

  • 125 grams unsalted butter , soft
  • 60 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 egg
  • 125 grams flour
  • 150 grams whole wheat flour
  • 35 grams wheat bran
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • We beat the butter with the sugar and honey until creamy. We add the egg and beat again.
  • We add both flours, the baking powder, and the wheat bran. We knead well until we achieve a uniform, smooth, and non-sticky dough. We form a ball with the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
  • After the time has passed, we roll out the dough and cut it with the cookie cutter we like best. We place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake them at 180º for 12 minutes or until you see that the edges start to brown.
  • Once done, let them cool on a wire rack.
