Zebra Cake

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons cocoa, for the chocolate mix
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, for the chocolate mix
  • 1/4 cups cow's milk, for the chocolate mix
  • 1 cup chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cups white chocolate, lined

  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  • In a bowl mix flour with salt and baking powder. Reserve.
  • Beat the butter with the sugar, add the eggs and the vanilla essence one by one. Add the powders alternated with milk, beat until integrated. Reserve.
  • Divide the mixture in two parts to one part add the cocoa, sugar and milk, beat until integrating.
  • Pour each of the mixtures into pastry and reserve sleeves.
  • Pour into the center of a mold, previously floured and greased, a little of the vanilla mixture, on top add chocolate mixture. Repeat alternating, until finishing with the mixtures.
  • Bake for 40 min. Let cool and unmold.
  • Decorate with melted chocolate and chocolate shavings.
