Easy Horchata

When it comes to refreshing drinks, there’s nothing like this easy horchata! Rice, cinnamon, vanilla essence, evaporated milk, cow’s milk, and water come together in this outrageously good drink that is perfect for hot weather days.

  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 sprig cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1/2 liters water

  • In a bowl, mix rice, cinnamon, vanilla essence, and two cups of water. Let rest for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Transfer to a blender, add evaporated milk, and blend until smooth.
  • Strain blended mixture and pour into a pitcher.
  • Add a cup of milk, sugar, and remaining water. Serve easy horchata.
