Hot Chocolate with Cinnamon Mexican Style

Nothing like a warm drink on a cold day, but there is nothing better than a hot chocolate with the characteristic taste of Mexican chcolate. Also, this recipe has a touch of cinnamon that complements it and will make you fall in love with it.

  • 4 cups cow's milk
  • 250 grams chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cups whipped cream

  • Mix milk, chocolate and cinnamon in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate melts completely and the mixture begins to boil.
  • Pour equal amounts into 4 cups.
  • Decorate each of the cups with 1 tablespoon of whipped cream. If you wish, serve it with a cinnamon stick covered with chocolate or cinnamon powder.
