Traditional Sangrita

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 2 ancho chiles, trimmed and seeded
  • lime juice, 1 lime

  • In a pot, soak chiles in hot water for 20 minutes. Drain.
  • Transfer chiles to a food processor, and add onion, orange juice, lime juice, and salt.
  • Grind until a smooth consistency is obtained. Serve traditional sangrita.
