  • 1 cup cream cheese, in cubes for the sauce
  • 1 cup whipping cream, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups whole milk, for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder, for the sauce
  • salt, for the sauce
  • pepper, for the sauce
  • butter, for glazing
  • 1 cup bacon, fried and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons basil, dry
  • 2 cups Manchego cheese, shredded

  • Peel the potatoes, slice them, and set aside.
  • Blend the cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, thyme, garlic, and onion powder; season with salt and pepper. Mix until homogeneous.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter, build the first layer: arrange the potatoes at the bottom of the dish, add fried bacon, pour the sauce, add basil, and top with manchego cheese; repeat this process until you finish with cheese. Bake for 35 minutes at 180 °C. Serve hot.
