  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 6 mortadella, in thick slices
  • 3 Manchego cheese, in medium slices
  • vegetable oil

  • In a baking dish, mix the egg, salt, and pepper. Place a slice of mortadella, a slice of manchego cheese, and another slice of mortadella.
  • In another baking dish, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • Dip the mortadella in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.Fry in enough oil for 3 minutes on each side or until slightly golden.
  • Serve the mortadella and accompany it with salad and a refreshing drink.
