  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cups water, fry
  • flour, to stretch the dough
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • 6 egg whites
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • pink dye

  • Combine the flour, salt, egg yolks, and egg in a bowl. Gradually add the water until you obtain an elastic and homogeneous dough, but remember that this dough may not need all the water.Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured flat surface, cut circles, and roll them into aluminum foil cylinders. Fry in a pan with enough oil for 3 minutes or until crispy. Drain and set aside.
  • Beat the egg whites until small bubbles form, then add the sugar, distributing it throughout the bowl without stopping the beating. Continue beating until the meringue doubles in size and obtains a shiny tone. Add the pink dye, mixing until you have a uniform color.
  • Fill the cylinders with a pastry bag with a tip.
