  • 125 grams butter
  • 125 grams sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups almonds, sliced
  • 1 cup icing sugar, for decoration

  • For the cake, beat the butter with the sugar until creamy and it changes color (whiter). Add the eggs one by one, ensuring each is perfectly incorporated; add the baking powder and salt. Incorporate the flour alternating with the orange juice, zest, and sour cream. Once everything is perfectly mixed, pour the batter into a loaf pan, place the sliced almonds on top, and bake for 45 minutes at 170°C. Let the cake rest.
