  • 1 tablespoon coarse salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons black peppercorn
  • 1/2 tablespoons cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1 orange

  • Crush the coarse salt, pepper, coriander seeds, and dried oregano in a mortar or molcajete until you get a powder. Set aside.
  • Slice the onions into thin strips, add the crushed spices, apple cider vinegar, and water. Mix until combined and let sit for 10 minutes.
