Beef with Peppers and Mushrooms

  • 4 Tía Rosa® Tortillinas® precooked floured tortillas
  • 500 ground beef
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green bell peppers, in strips
  • 1/2 red bell peppers, in strips
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
  • 250 grams Oaxaca cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cans evaporated milk
  • 2 leaves bay
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • salt, and pepper

  • Heat the vegetable oil and sauté the onion, peppers, and ground beef.
  • Add evaporated milk, mushrooms, and bay leaves. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add Oaxaca cheese, cover the stew, and cook for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with parsley (optional) and serve hot.
  • Serve with Tía Rosa® Pre-cooked Tortillinas®.
