Blue Cheese and Walnut Canapés

This canapé recipe uses sliced bread to make the tartlet shells, it's easy and looks spectacular!

1 package white Bimbo bread
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cups cream cheese
pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
20 walnuts, for decoration

Preheat the oven to 200°C.
On a flat surface, flatten the slices of bread with a rolling pin until they are very thin.
Using a round cookie cutter, cut 1 circle from each flattened slice of bread. (You can also make them in star shapes)
Place the bread circles on a muffin baking tray, arranging them upside down to fit the mold properly.
Brush all the bread cups with melted butter and place in the oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Beat the gorgonzola cheese and cream cheese until well blended. Add salt and pepper.
Put the cheese mixture in a piping bag and fill each bread cup with the cheese in a flower shape (use a star or cross tip to achieve this).
Sprinkle the canapés with paprika and decorate each one with a walnut.
