Cheese and Fig Sandwich

A very delicious and easy recipe that turns a simple cheese sandwich into a gourmet dish.

  • 4 ciabatta breads, cut horizontally
  • 1/4 cups fig jam
  • 300 grams Manchego cheese, or brie
  • 200 grams turkey deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 figs, freshly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary

  • Heat a skillet or a sandwich maker.
  • Prepare each sandwich using ciabatta bread, spreading a layer of fig jam, adding slices of cheese, 2 slices of turkey, and 2 figs.
  • Cook the sandwiches until the cheese is 100% melted and bubbling. If using a skillet, it's important to use a spatula to press it down while cooking.
