Cheese Ball Filled with Pico de Gallo Breaded with Tostitos

This cheese ball has all the ingredients we love; Tostitos Salsa Verde®, the creaminess that melts in your mouth with an exquisite and original pico de gallo filling that you will love.

  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 jicamas
  • 2 limes, only the juice
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 570 grams cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • 1 bag Tostitos® green salsa tortilla chips, 240 g

  • For the pico, mix the tomato with the onion, cilantro, cucumber, jicama, lime, and vinegar, season with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, using a spatula, cream the cheese, season with salt and pepper, and add the finely chopped green onion.
  • On a non-stick plastic surface, spread the cheese with a slightly thick layer, add the pico de gallo, and using the same plastic, form a ball. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Process the Tostitos Salsa Verde®, place them on a flat platter.
  • Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and roll it in Tostitos Salsa Verde® powder.
  • Serve with Tostitos Salsa Verde®
