Cheese Sandwich

A sandwich filled with manchego and Oaxaca cheese. Serve it with a spicy red sauce and heat the sandwich on a grill to melt the cheese.

  • 6 slices white bread
  • 6 slices Manchego cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Take a slice of bread, place 2 slices of manchego cheese on top, and cover with another slice of bread. Repeat this with the 3 sandwiches.
  • Cook the sandwich in the skillet using a wooden spatula to press it down while cooking. The secret to this recipe is to cook the sandwich very well so that the cheese becomes very melted.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes on each side and remove from the skillet, serve.
