Brie cheese in plum sauce is a recipe that can be presented as a delicious appetizer or as a delightful dessert. A very simple preparation to make and with such a rich flavor, it is perfect for a gathering with your friends.
1/2 tubs sweet and sour plum sauce Cocina Mestiza®
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 bunch fresh thyme
1 Brie cheese, at room temperature
1 baguette, sliced thinly and toasted

In a small pot, heat the oil and squeeze in the garlic. Before it starts to brown, add half a jar of any Sweet and Sour Sauce from Cocina Mestiza and the thyme. When it starts to boil, lower the heat and let it simmer for 1 minute. Turn off and let cool slightly.
To serve: place the brie cheese on a serving plate and drizzle with the sauce. Garnish with a sprig of thyme and serve with crackers or toasted baguette slices.
