Christmas Cheese Sphere

For your December gatherings, this creamy cheese dip recipe with cold cuts and topped with pomegranate will be the perfect dish to bring or have at home when receiving your guests. It’s an excellent no-bake Christmas snack that you just need to pair with bread or crackers. Plus, you can shape it however you like and not just as a sphere. It will be the ideal appetizer your dinner needed.

  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1/2 cups chorizo, fried
  • 1/2 cups chistorra, fried
  • 1/2 cups salami, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 cups Jalapeño chile
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 cup pomegranate
  • parsley, chopped for decoration
  • cookies, or bread, for accompaniment

  • In a bowl, soften the cream cheese with a spatula, add the chorizo, chistorra, salami, onion powder, garlic powder, jalapeño, and oregano. Mix until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a bowl lined with non-stick plastic, add the cheese mixture and shape it into a ball, as shown in the video. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Place the pomegranate on a plate and completely cover the cheese ball.
  • Serve, decorate with parsley, and accompany with crackers or bread.
