Cream Cheese and Red Pepper Dip

  • 1 red bell pepper, roasted
  • 1/3 cups fresh basil leaf, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • almonds, sliced or chopped walnuts
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • saltine crackers

  • Roast the bell pepper until soft. Place it in a blender along with the cream cheese, basil, and garlic clove until everything is perfectly blended.
  • USE the blender pulse to mix the spreadable cream cheese, basil, and garlic until a smooth mixture forms. Wash the cream cheese container; line it with plastic wrap, leaving excess over the edge of the container.
  • Place it in a glass bowl.
  • Top with chopped almonds or walnuts, cover with plastic, and refrigerate for two hours.
  • Unmold and serve with crackers or loaves of bread.
