It can be a first course or a snack, this recipe is based on the Aztec cake but with a different twist using the delicious Hummus Libanius. You have to try it!
In a fireproof container, place a little olive oil, half an onion, and the garlic previously cut into small julienne strips, cook until transparent, add the chilies previously cut into julienne, without seeds or veins, and cook for 10 minutes or until the skin bubbles.
Place the sugar, a pinch of salt, and lower the heat to caramelize; if necessary, add a little water. Cook for about 30 minutes over very low heat. Let cool until it becomes like a light jam.
Place the meat with the remaining half onion cut into small cubes, marinated with Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, paprika or pepper, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes. Heat a container and blanch the meat.
Mix the Hummus Libanius with the cream cheese until well integrated.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a greased glass baking dish, place a layer of tortillas, on top of the tortillas the HUMMUS with the cream. Spread it perfectly.
On top of this, the layer of meat and over the meat the chili jam; add the melting cheese and sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake for 20 minutes.
Garnish with cilantro. Serve warm.
