Cheese Trees

These original little trees are ideal for any gathering; they are easy and delicious; no cooking required.

  • 3 cups cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups green olives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups bell pepper, roasted, canned, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups tomato, roasted, canned, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups Jalapeño chile, fresh, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt
  • 1/2 cups parsley, chopped very finely
  • 1 tablespoon allspice berry, chopped
  • 1/2 cups almonds, toasted and finely chopped

  • Mix cream cheese, green olives, bell pepper, roasted tomato, jalapeño pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • Place plastic wrap over a board and a portion of approximately 4 tablespoons of the cheese mixture, place another plastic wrap on top and shape the little trees with your hands. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Mix parsley, allspice, and almond in a bowl.
  • Remove the little trees from the refrigerator and cover with the almond mixture, place the breadstick as the trunk of the little tree, and serve with Galletas Saladitas® Gamesa®.
