Chicken Wings

Spectacularly spicy Buffalo-style chicken wings. They are baked with a mixture of hot sauce, tomato, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. I hope you try them; they are perfect for game days.

  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 bottle hot sauce, for wings
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 20 chicken wings
  • 3/4 cups tomato purée
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chile powder

  • Preheat the oven to 190 °C; bake the wings on a tray for 30 minutes, or until they look golden brown.
  • Mix the butter, sauce, tomato purée, chili, and red pepper in a small bowl. Whisk well.
  • Dip the wings in the sauce and shake off any excess. Return them to the tray. Reduce the oven temperature to 120 °C and bake for another 15 minutes.
