  • Cut the chicken breast into 3 cm cubes, using your knives and cutting boards.
  • Cut the bell peppers, leek, and onion in the same way.
  • Assemble the skewers, alternating chicken and vegetables.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing sugar, spices, mirin, and soy sauce in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat and let this sauce reduce to two-thirds.
  • Season the skewers with salt and pepper and brush with a little oil. Cook the skewers on a grill, basting them with a little sauce during cooking.
