Chicken Burritos

Delicious chicken burritos to enjoy for lunch. The chicken is stewed with red bell pepper, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Added with a bit of cumin and tomato sauce. This is the filling for a burrito made with 100% Mexican flour tortillas.

  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic

  • Brown the breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Cut them into not too large pieces and set aside. In the same pan, brown the chopped garlic, then add the julienned onion and the red bell pepper also julienned.
  • Add a little salt and a bit of cumin (to taste).
  • When the vegetables are tender, but not too mushy, add the chopped chicken and the tomato sauce.
  • Stir on low heat and let it rest.
  • Fill the tortilla and close it like a cannelloni. Heat the burrito in the oven or microwave to warm the tortilla and make it crispy.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool, unmold, and ready to serve.
