Crispy Jalapeño Poppers

Prepare this delicious snack of breaded jalapeño peppers, filled with a rich cream cheese dip with cheddar cheese, pepperoni, bacon, and corn kernels. Take advantage of your stale bread as thanks to your Braun® MultiQuick it is very easy to make bread crumbs.

  • 2 packages cream cheese
  • 1/4 cups onion
  • 2 tablespoons chives
  • 1/4 cups pepperoni, diced
  • 1/4 cups bacon, fried and diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cups corn kernels
  • salt and pepper
  • 20 Jalapeño chiles, deveined and seedless
  • 1 cup bread, stale, for breading
  • 1 cup corn flakes, for breading
  • flour, for breading
  • egg, batter for breading
  • vegetable oil, for frying

  • Cream the cream cheese with the help of your Braun® MultiQuick 7. Mix with the onion, green onion, pepperoni, bacon, cheddar cheese, corn kernels, and season with salt and pepper. Place in a piping bag.
  • Open and devein the peppers with the help of a knife, being careful not to break them. Fill them with the previous preparation and set aside.
  • Use your Braun® MultiQuick 725 to process the stale bread together with the corn flakes until you achieve a fine powder.
  • Bread the peppers by passing them through flour, egg, and the mixture of bread and corn flakes.
  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the jalapeños until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot accompanied by the dressing of your choice.
