Preparing snacks for parties can be very easy with this recipe for cheese and cream dip topped with whole almonds. A delicious cheese snack that gets a twist with the almond topping, which also adds lots of flavor. This dip will be a great way to accompany your gatherings and pamper your guests.

1/2 cups requesón
1 cup chistorra, golden, in cubes

1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon lime zest

For the caramelized onion, cook the onion in a small pot with hot oil over low heat, stirring constantly, until it begins to take on a brown color. Incorporate the balsamic vinegar and let cook for a few more minutes. Add the mustard and season with salt and pepper; mix and set aside.
Soften the cream cheese in a bowl together with the cream and ricotta. Add the chorizo, caramelized onion, celery, black olive, chili flakes, green onion, parsley, and lemon zest; season with salt and pepper, mix until completely incorporated.
With the help of an ice cream scoop, place the mixture in a circle and cover with a non-stick plastic wrap, shaping it into a ring with your hands. Refrigerate until sufficiently firm.
Once the dip is firm, finish shaping the ring with the help of a spatula. Place almonds around the ring and decorate with parsley. Serve with whole grain crackers.
