Hummus is a chickpea puree that works very well as a light snack. With this recipe, you can enjoy this healthy snack with a hint of lightly roasted garlic in olive oil. Serve with Habaneras® Bran for snacking and perfectly balance your meals and lifestyle.
Cut the head of garlic, place it on a baking sheet, drizzle with a bit of olive oil and roast for 15 minutes, or until soft, at 200 °C. Remove the garlic cloves with the help of a knife and set aside.
In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, roasted garlic, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and process until you have a smooth and creamy consistency.
Serve on a flat platter, garnish with yellow lemon, parsley, and accompany with Habaneras® Bran.
