Sunflower Seed and Chipotle Dip

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tomato, without seeds, chopped
  • 1/4 cups fresh cilantro
  • 2 chipotle chiles, with marinade
  • 2 cloves garlic, burnt
  • 1/2 cups sour cream

  • Grind the sunflower seeds by pulsing the food processor until you achieve a coarse flour. Add the tomato, chipotle, garlic, and cilantro.
  • Gradually add the cream, mix again, and if necessary, add water until you achieve the desired consistency.
  • Pour the dip into a deep bowl, and garnish with toasted sunflower seeds.
  • Serve with vegetable sticks or bread.
