  • 3 cups cream cheese, cut into cubes and at room temperature
  • 1/4 cups chipotle chile in adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 cups smoked oysters, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce, Tabasco, preferably
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cups almonds, half with skin and half without skin, toasted

  • 1 slice sandwich bread, for the star
  • saltine crackers, to accompany

  • For the dip, in a bowl mix the cream cheese with the chipotle in adobo, the garlic powder, the smoked oysters, the salt, the pepper, the hot sauce, and the lemon juice.
  • On a board place non-stick plastic, add the previous mixture, cover with more plastic, and shape it into a tree with your hands. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, roll out a slice of sandwich bread with a rolling pin and use a cookie cutter to cut out stars. Bake in the electric oven at medium temperature until golden.
  • Remove the dip from refrigeration and place it on a plate. Decorate with almonds, cranberries, rosemary, and finish with the bread star. Serve with crackers.
