Easy Chicharrón in Green Sauce

The traditional chicharrón in green sauce that is eaten in Mexico. Easy to prepare.

  • 200 grams pork rinds
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1/2 kilos tomatillo
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 1/2 cups fresh cilantro
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Blend the tomatillos with the onion, chile, cilantro, water, and salt.
  • Fry this sauce in the oil, cook for about 5 minutes, and add the chicharrón cut into pieces.
  • Cook covered for 10 more minutes on low heat.
