1/2 cups sparkling water

4 ears corn
3 cups vegetable oil, for frying
mayonnaise, to accompany

For the corn sticks, mix the ingredients for the batter in a bowl and beat for 3 minutes until you have a homogeneous mixture.
Insert the sticks into the corn.
In a deep saucepan, heat the oil over low heat.
Dip the corn into the corn stick mixture, remove the excess, and fry for 3 minutes over low heat, placing them on absorbent paper.
Serve accompanied by mayonnaise, cheese, and chili piquín.
