Escargots a la Bourguignonne

This delicious recipe is considered a gourmet dish in France. Escargots are snails that can be purchased canned in gourmet stores, and this preparation is the most classic of all.

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon shallot, chopped

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • In a food processor, make a puree with the butter, parsley, shallots, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place half of the mixture in the 24 snail shells. Put 1 snail per shell and then place the other half of the garlic and butter mixture.
  • Bake for 10 minutes and serve.
