Fig and Cheese Bruschetta

An ultra-simple snack to prepare but with a delicious flavor. The figs and gorgonzola cheese are an ideal combination.

  • 20 slices baguette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 250 grams gorgonzola cheese, at room temperature
  • 12 figs, soft, chopped

  • Preheat the oven to high heat and place the oven rack at the top.
  • On a baking sheet, place all the slices of bread and brush with olive oil.
  • Put in the oven until slightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Flip the slices and return to the oven for another minute.
  • Set the bread aside.
  • Spread each slice of bread with 1 tablespoon of gorgonzola cheese and top with 2 tablespoons of chopped figs (you can also use a whole slice).
  • Serve.
