Take advantage of fig season and prepare this delicious canapé or snack made with a crispy base, a bit of raspberry jam, serrano ham, and fig halves. You will love it and it's perfect for your New Year's dinner.
2 packages Extra Special® Duroc breed pork serrano ham
1 cup fig, in halves
1 cup peppermint

In a bowl, add the flour, water, egg, and salt. Whisk for 15 minutes until you have a smooth and elastic dough.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and use a round cutter to cut out circles. Set aside.
Heat the oil over medium heat and fry for 3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Place a bit of Extra Special® raspberry jam on a circle, add some fresh natural Extra Special® goat cheese, Extra Special® serrano ham, figs, and garnish with fresh mint.
