This appetizer is easy to prepare and tastes delicious. If desired, you can put them on the grill and serve them with a arugula salad with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Place a few drops of balsamic vinegar on each half of the fig and fill the center with goat cheese. Sprinkle with chili flakes. Wrap in the halves of prosciutto slices.
If you wish to grill them, brush the figs with a little olive oil and preheat the grill to medium heat.
Place the wrapped figs on the cooler part of the grill (to cook the figs and get a little crispy on the outside).
Cook for about 5-6 minutes until the prosciutto is crispy and the figs feel soft.
