Fire Potato Wedges

If you love spicy food and crave a snack in the afternoons, then this fire potato wedge recipe is perfect, as it won't take much of your time. Don't forget to add a spicy touch to your meals with Huichol® sauce.

  • 6 potatoes, precooked 6 potatoes, precooked

  • 3 tablespoons Salsa Huichol® hot sauce, for the sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Salsa Huichol® black sauce, for the sauce

  • Place the cooked potatoes on a clean surface, start by cutting them in half lengthwise and then cut that half into two, this will give you the wedges.
  • Add the flour, paprika, chili powder, rosemary, and the fire potato powder in a bowl, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the potato wedges in the flour mixture and cover them very well. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat and add the potato wedges in batches. Cook for 5 minutes or until the fire potato wedges turn a red and golden color. Remove the potatoes from the heat using tongs and drain the excess fat.
  • Add the red onion, Huichol® sauce with lemon, Huichol® habanero sauce, Huichol® spicy sauce, and Huichol® black sauce in a small bowl, then mix well and if desired, you can add a few drops of lemon.
  • Place the fire potato wedges on a small plate or in a basket, drizzle with the sauce, and you can serve with another dressing of your choice.
