Knorr® Cazón Empanadas

  • 1 cube Knorr ® shrimp bouillon
  • 3 teaspoons mayonnaise, Hellman’s® mayonnaise dressing
  • 450 grams school shark, Approximately 150 grams for each fillet
  • 1 red bell pepper, Dice without seeds
  • 2 chilaca chiles
  • 2 tablespoons parsley , chopped
  • 12 dough empanadas
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, chopped cooked
  • 1 egg, Beat the egg

  • Heat the olive oil and lightly sauté the onion with the bell pepper and chilacas.
  • Add the cazón, cook it well and shred it, seasoning with the Knorr® Shrimp Broth cube. Mix well.
  • Add the parsley and remove from heat; let it cool completely.
  • Once the filling is cold, mix in the Hellman’s® mayonnaise dressing and incorporate the boiled egg.
  • Fill the empanada discs and close them by lightly brushing the edges with egg and pressing with a fork.
  • Place on a baking tray, brush the surface with egg, and bake at 180° for 15 minutes.
