Nachos with Shrimp and Cheese

Nachos can be a snack, an appetizer, or even a full meal if you prepare this recipe for nachos with shrimp and cheese, to which you can add or remove ingredients according to your preference. This version of nachos has an Asian flavor twist that you will love.

  • 1 bag Eva® Wok Teriyaki, 420 g
  • 500 grams shrimp, small, clean, without shell
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce, for the shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, shredded, for the shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons mirin (sweet rice wine), for the shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil, for the shrimp
  • vegetable oil
  • tortilla chips
  • 1 cup black beans, cooked, without broth
  • cheddar cheese, melted or American-style melted cheese, ideal for nachos
  • Manchego cheese, shredded
  • cheddar cheese, shredded
  • green onion, sliced, including the stems, to accompany
  • lime, quartered, to accompany

  • Mix the shrimp with soy sauce, fresh ginger, mirin, and sesame oil in a container or bowl. Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  • Heat a pan over high temperature, pour a little vegetable oil, and cook the shrimp for 3 minutes. When the shrimp starts to turn red, add the Eva® Wok Teriyaki bag, cook while stirring for 4 more minutes, then pour in the teriyaki sauce included in the Eva® Wok Teriyaki bag. Mix the ingredients well and remove from heat. Cool slightly.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • Place the tortilla chips on a baking tray, then add the black beans, sautéed shrimp salad, liquid yellow cheese, manchego cheese, and cheddar cheese. Bake at 200 °C for 10 minutes or until the cheese is gratinated.
  • Once the nachos with shrimp and cheese come out of the oven, sprinkle with green onion, serve immediately and enjoy with guacamole, pico de gallo, or grilled chiles.
