Shrimp in Tequila

This recipe is very simple but delicious and is made with raw shrimp, tomato, onion, chili, oregano, and tequila. I made this recipe one day when I had shrimp and the water in my house was cut off, so I added tequila instead of water, and they turned out delicious.

  • Cut the tomato, onion, chili, and garlic into cubes.
  • In a skillet on low heat, add olive oil and sauté the garlic, then add the chili, onion, and finally the tomato, seasoning to taste with pepper and oregano. Use a bean masher to crush the sauce and then add the tequila. Once the tequila is well heated, add the shrimp and let them turn pink, being careful not to overcook them. If necessary, add more tequila, and it's ready.
