Goat Cheese, Dried Tomato, and Pesto Appetizer

A delicious appetizer of whipped goat cheese with cream molded with layers of dried tomato and pesto.

  • 280 grams goat cheese
  • 1/2 cups whole cream
  • pepper, to taste
  • 5 tablespoons pesto
  • 5 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
  • walnuts, for garnish
  • olive oil, for serving
  • cookies, for serving

  • Beat the goat cheese with the cream until fluffy.
  • Take a deep circular glass baking dish and line it with plastic wrap.
  • Place 1/3 of the goat cheese in the baking dish and press down firmly with a spoon to mold.
  • Place a layer of basil pesto over the cheese. Cover with another 1/3 of the goat cheese and press down with a spoon.
  • Place the layer of dried tomato and cover with the remaining goat cheese. Finish by pressing down with the spoon.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
